New notes are visible to all event volunteers immediately.
When creating a Team Issue, you can tag it with one or more categories to help route it to the right person:
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| RoboRIO | RIO not booting, code crash |
| Driver Station | DS laptop problem, IP config, firewall |
| Radio | Radio not connecting, wrong team number |
| Power | Battery voltage issues, brownouts, PDH/PDP |
| Mechanical | Mechanical robot problem |
| Electrical | Wiring issues, motor controllers |
| Volunteer | Volunteer-related note |
| Venue | Field or venue issue |
| Other | Anything that doesn't fit the above |
Multiple categories can be selected on a single note.
The Field Monitor can automatically create notes when it detects a robot problem during a match. These are generated based on state changes observed during the match (for example, a robot losing connection mid-match).
Auto-detected notes appear in the feed with the same structure as manual notes and can be edited or resolved the same way.
In Field View on the Notepad, or directly from the Field Monitor, you can tap on a team's station to quickly add a note for them. The team number is pre-filled.
